There are over 1,000 different leadership organizations throughout the country, representing communities of all sizes and demographics.

Each of these organizations has its own set of programming and offerings, but the DNA that runs through all of them is a flagship program that works to broaden their understanding of and deepen their connection to the community. These longer (10+ month) experiences typically include a retreat and deep dive into a combination of key institutions and aspects of any community: government, education, economic development, quality of place, nonprofits, and the arts. An estimated 25,000 leaders graduate from these collective programs every year - growing more informed leaders who see their communities (and its people) from a whole new perspective. NCLC works to amplify the impact these programs - and others - have on the community.
